MutiI-Crew Pilot License Program (MPL) Inauguration Ceremony
To increase flight operation efficiency and safety, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has introduced a new kind of pilot license, Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) since 23 November 2006. With the focus on Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Competency Based Training Approach as well as Threat and Error Management Theory (TEM) are required from the stage of flying schools to flight simulators, which fulfils the needs of Thai Airways International. Currently, 3 flying schools in Thailand are invited to organize this training program:

1. Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC)
2. Bangkok Aviation Center (BAC)
3. International Aviation College Nakornphanom (IAC NPU)

Moreover, DCA representatives are invited as Licensing Rules and Regulations Consultants, and also Thai Pilot Associations as International Aviation Information Consultants. Consequently, it is an innovative flying training ever recorded in Thailand’s aviation history as close cooperation has been established among several flying schools to organize this training program contributing to unity end efficiency of Thailand’s flying school business in the future.
